I am a proven operator within broadcast news. I spent ten years as a news editor and field producer at ITN and a further decade as a general reporter at ITV. Whether working alone or as part of a team I know from experience how each story should be told and have the technical and presentation skills to gather elements and deliver a product that stays with the viewer long after they have changed the channel.
Between 2003 and 2012 I gained news desk and field production experience at one of the oldest and most trusted names in broadcast news. This gave me an instinct for a story and a solid knowledge of how to tell it. I travelled the world with some of the most experienced and best crews and correspondents in the business.
As a reporter for ITV News in the Midlands between 2012 and 2023 I have had the privilege of working on the most diverse and active news patch in Britain for more than a decade. There is no story to which I cannot turn a hand. I hone my camera and edit skills daily and consistently turn around lives and packages to tight deadlines.
